25 June 2010. The mayor of Sofia region of Kremikovtzi Mr Ivailo Panev, together with the owners Mr. Ivailo Kalchev and Mr. Vasil Valchev cut the ribbon on the new warehouse and office building of K&K Marketing and Advanced technology and machines

The event was celebrated with a cocktail in the presence of more than 250 guests. The building was built without a moment of suspension of construction works. The total investment made amounted to over € 3,500,000 Euro.

In the new building have been implemented many innovative measures:

• Energy efficiency significantly exceed its requirements recently adopted rules after their harmonization with the EU. Originally are passive measures in architectural orientation of the building in such a way as to be reduced need for heating and cooling naturally.
• Installed are double glazed roof domes for storage area - one of the first such in Bulgaria in general (allowing the use of warehouses and business premises wholly with natural daylight);
• Installed are special, and a double glazed glass curtain windows filled with argon;
• Enclosing the storage structures are panel of mineral wool with a thickness of 120 mm of the leading European manufacturer Trimo. Outside sun-protection system was built by the German company Werema;
• The administrative part have controlled forced ventilation with heat recovery, which introduced fresh air for maintaining the microclimate in the premises, it can be changed up to 3 times per hour and at the working premises /in the very halls/ air can be changed up to 16 times per hour.
• There are energy-saving lighting and high very high air penetration protection of the outer shell of the building.
• The complex of measures is determing the energy efficiency building as low-energy with its specific annual energy consumption for heating by 42.8 [kWh/m2a]
• Applied are special measures for management of domestic sewage and rain water. The site has a huge infiltrative prism for rainwater drainage and local treatment facility for domestic waste waterd, manufactured in Switzerland and Germany by the German giant Rehau. For irrigation of green areas and alleys washing using water from underground reservoirs for rainwater and treated sewage municipal sewage. Thus saving significant amounts of clean drinking water.
• There are exceptional security measures and fire safety specialist stores with inks and other chemicals. For this purpose, is installed with special extinguishing system CO2 from the German company Siemens and the only one owned in Bulgaria from competetive companies offering similar products in the industrial product identification market.
