The new headquarters of  K&K Marketing and Advanced technology and machinery in Sofia, located at 27 Chelopeshko Shosse str. received permission to use with № CT-05-384 / 29.03.2010, issued by National Construction Department (DNSK) of Sofia. The new building will be fully operational in one month.

New buildings that opened the second half of 2009 and early 2010 are not much, but the construction industry in Bulgaria is in critical collapse, a marked decrease of more than 40%.

Despite all the financial difficulties in the country the new headquarters of K&K Marketing and our service organization "Advanced technology and machines" was successfully completed without interruption in point of construction works. The total investment is more than €3,500,000 (3,5 million Euro).

K&K Marketing is a partner of many of the largest industrial companies in Bulgaria. The new building was built in order to achieve optimization of the business, enhancing competitiveness and opportunity to offer more quality and diverse products and services to our customers in the coming years.

Sustainable development is a new approach in the future and break the thinking of all those involved in the construction process, not through the prism of unilateral extraction of momentary or long-term profit, constructed, and incorporating the whole process more factors than pure economics - the responsibility to society and nature.

The topic of sustainable construction is now a leading policy for Europe. And will become more targeted policy for businesses and investors. Rising prices and resource depletion, climate change, the tightening of laws and requirements for energy efficiency and social responsibility are the main factors that make a market reality in the construction of sustainable buildings.

We as investors assumed that the cost of a reasonable increase in initial investment compared to conventional construction will achieve a higher market value of the property, lower operating costs for energy, water and maintenance. Investment at the beginning is higher because of the extensive initial studies and detailed design, setting of quality materials and technology and strict quality control at runtime.

This is the primary cause for several innovative measures implemented in our new warehouse-office building.

• Its energy efficiency significantly exceed the requirements of recently adopted rules after their harmonization with the EU. Attached are a number of measures. Initially these are passive measures in architectural orientation of the building in such a way as to be reduced need for heating and cooling naturally. Then, provided special, also for two-chamber glass curtain wall filled with argon, glazed roof domes for the storage area (which allow the use of warehouses and business premises wholly with natural daylight), greater thickness of insulation on the surrounding structures, Foreign sun; controlled forced ventilation with heat recovery, high vazduhonepronitsaemost outer shell of the building, high performance equipment for maintenance of the microclimate in facilities and energy-saving lighting. All these measures define the building as a low-energy with its specific annual energy consumption for heating by 42.8 [kWh / m2a]
• Measures are applied for management of domestic sewage and rain water. Site has a huge infiltrative prism for rainwater drainage and treatment facility for local household. For irrigation of green areas and cleaning the alleys will be used by underground water tanks for rainwater. This will save significant amounts of clean drinking water.
• There are exceptional security measures and fire safety specialist stores with inks and other chemicals. To this end, installed a special extinguishing system with CO2.
• It is all these and many other measures will give their performance and achieve sustainable construction. So our company as an investor shows his vision for the future and their responsibility to employees and partners but also to society and the environment.
