The construction of the new warehouse and administrative building of K&K Marketing EOOD /Advanced Technologies and Machines/ has been started recently, according to the permission for construction issued by the chief-architect of Kremikovtzi region of Sofia (permission number 76 / 22 July, 2008)

The new building will be situated 1 km away from the circumferential highway of Sofia, in the direction of the town of Varna, 5 minutes away from the Trakia highway, on the direction of Plovdiv and Burgas.  According to the latest architectural plan of Sofia the new highway "Liulin" will pass few hundred meters away, and the Sofia Airport is nearby - 5-7 minutes by car. The location of the building is very easy to access via all major entrances and exits to Sofia.

The base of the building will be 1530 square meters and the total construction will amount to 2795 square meters. It will comprise trading, warehouse and administrative areas as well as service and technical rooms. The outside electric power supply and fresh and waist water systems will be built simultaneously. The most modern quality standards are incorporated in the design of the building. Only high quality building systems and materials will be used in the construction. Special attention has been paid to fire-safety. The building will be recognized for its fresh and impressive and at the same time calm and moderate architectural outlook. There will be a lot of green areas around as well as a parking lot for about 30 vehicles.

The total investment planned is €3,000,000 (3 million Euro). The building is planned to be operational by the end of 2009.

The building has been designed by "Studio ARHE" Ltd. owned by architect Georgi Nikolov. He has participated in a series of serious projects of administrative and trade buildings in Sofia. The Studio is famous for its high quality design and the profound investigations in the field of energy effectiveness of buildings. He is the author of the first projects in Bulgaria for low energy consuming and passive buildings. In the design of the new building of "K&K Marketing" a number of special measures have been taken into consideration in order to improve its energy model and the final result would be a distinguished example of environmentally friendly industrial type building.
